Nationalmuseum

Nationalmuseum

Nationalmuseum at Blasieholmen houses an exceptional collection of paintings, sculptures, drawings, and graphic art from the 16th to the early 20th century, complemented by contemporary craft and design. Curated by SpoilConcept, the reopening of the Nationalmuseum in 2018 became one of modern Sweden’s most significant cultural events. During the reopening, a film directed by Pompe Hedengren and Johan Björnsrud was projected onto the museum’s façade. Inside the building the Swedish Radio Choir performed a preview of Jacob Mühlrad’s Time and together with dancer and choreographer Kenneth Kvarnström and esteemed chef Fredrik Eriksson, the museum was transformed into a dynamic stage for art, performance, and design.
