Founded in 2010, Fotografiska has become a global institution with locations in cosmopolitan cities worldwide. Dedicated to inspiring new perspectives through photography and contemporary art, Fotografiska presents some of the most compelling exhibitions of our time. The historic opening in Stockholm, orchestrated by SpoilConcept, attracted 2,500 guests from the business, cultural, and music sectors to Annie Leibovitz’s exhibition, A Photographer’s Life 1990–2005, placing the museum on the map. Another defining collaboration was the creative concept for the vernissage of the exhibition Lumière by Patrick Demarchelier, celebrating the photographer’s 50-year career, and attended by fashion legends such as Grace Coddington.
