Pontus in the Green House quickly became one of Sweden’s most talked-about restaurants when it opened in 1999. Since then, restaurateur Pontus Frithiof has received numerous awards, including Restaurateur of the Year and the Swedish Gastronomic Academy’s Gold Medal. Today, his company, Pontus Group, operates an expanding portfolio of restaurants in Sweden and abroad, including La Tour and Le Bar in the DN building, two American Express Lounges and La Girafe at Arlanda Airport, Pontus Frithiof at Bro Hof Slott, and Pontus at Spotify in New York. He has also authored two acclaimed cookbooks, including Husmanskost: Svenska smaker tolkade av Pontus Frithiof och Tor Stålhandske, which was published in both Sweden and the US.
