For over five decades, Volz was the indispensable third member of the artist duo Christo and Jeanne-Claude, celebrated for their monumental outdoor installations. Their iconic projects include wrapping Paris’s Pont Neuf in golden fabric and transforming eleven islands near Miami with vivid pink textiles. Volz not only captured the visionary scale of their art but played a central role in realizing the projects.
