Master saddler Johannes Palmgren founded his eponymous company in 1896. Since then, Palmgrens has become one of Sweden’s most respected makers of leather goods, with signature pieces such as the Rattan Bag – a Swedish classic. Known for its exquisite craftsmanship and eco-friendly vegetable-tanned leather, Palmgrens continues to evolve under the leadership of CEO Catharina Herré and through different designer collaborations. Long-standing partnerships include architect Thomas Sandell, who has designed home interior pieces such as the limited-edition table Kryssbord and stool Krysspallen.
