Tärnsjö Garveri

Among the last five percent of tanneries worldwide still practicing traditional vegetable tanning, Tärnsjö Garveri has upheld its tradition of craftsmanship since 1873. From its workshop in Tärnsjö, just outside Uppsala, the company not only produces leather for its own saddlery collection, but has also become a trusted partner to leading Swedish brands such as H&M, DUX, Our Legacy, Skultuna, and Hästens. Renowned for producing some of the world’s finest vegetable-tanned leather, the tannery uses hides sourced from local Swedish farms.
